Vampire Survivors This auto attack top-down wave game is highly addictive, as you compete again yourself to see how long you can survive. There are various characters you can unlock, each with a different starting weapon. It's slowly finding the play style you like as you have to use gold to unlock each extra character. There are also various goals and conditions you have to meet in-game to unlock someone's character before you can buy them. When starting a round mobs will follow your direction. so, navigating them around to use the timed attacks while trying not to back yourself into a corner is a good strategy. Get low on health? Attack the fires as they can drop coins or chicken. As enemies die, they can drop gems and on a rare event a chest. Collecting the gems will gain you levels, for each level you get a choice out of three things. This could be a new weapon or a relic.  Now, this is something that I have been playing for a while now. I played for like a month last year and it was hard to stick with because I was the only one playing. Now both my kids and my husband play so goodbye world bosses we are coming for you! We even got the bank and seller cats to help us as we're out in the world doing randomness so we don't have to go back to town as often. Now there is a lot to learn when it comes to MMOs I have played quite a few, WOW, FlyFF, Guild Wars 1 & 2, Final Fantasy XIV, and Runescape. This is one that I really could get into, it's not extremely basic but it is not too complex. So not pattern fighting like FF XIV and nothing like old FlyFF where you just collect drops and hatching eggs and marrying are important. (My pets were cute though.)  When I was looking at games I saw this one and I was like well it looks like a top-down survival I like Scrap Mechanic this says scrap I bet you have to build things with scrap let's try this.  So it starts off with you crash land and just on your ship you have enough oxygen so you you have to watch your meter so it doesn't go down. This isn't too bad because the first thing you do is go talk to a robot and repair the oxygenator for the area.  This leads to being given an area that you can build in and various missions to improve the area to survive. The awesome thing is there is a teleporter right by your base which you just have to mine a red crystal which they conveniently put right next to it. This lets you go from anywhere on the map to this point. Tribes of Midgard Game Review Welcome back everyone, or if you are new here hello! This week we are looking at Tribes of Midgard, a Viking game where you have to explore, collect, and fight. You have to do this all while protecting your village at night when the helthings come to raid it to destroy the life tree (insert name here).  While you collect resources, hunt animals, complete tasks, and kill enemies you collect souls which can heal your life tree. If the tree dies so does the run of the game. When the game ends you get points for the current season where you can start with different starter packs, new runes, and even clothes instead of being almost naked. (I just wear gloves, I swear it's all I have so far!) Now you can play this alone, with a group, or match play up to ten people.  Re:Legends Game Review  Re:Legends looks kind of like a mobile game came to pc.  This was a weird start. I started to play this with a friend because, on the store page, it said that it was an online co-op. Well, it is after you do about an hour of gameplay. When it comes to co-streaming that isn't ideal.  So let's get into the game, you start off with getting yeeted off of a mountain, then washed up to shore to be found by a talking penguin. Yes, a talking penguin!  You are then given a farm for some reason, which seems pretty generous. You go and have to do a few missions to learn how to fight, there are 4 classes. Dual swords, a great sword, a bow, and a staff. You fight these monsters, that you can also befriend and tame. It also gives me a Jade Cocoon vibe, as there are different versions of the monsters depending on how you take care of and feed them. Staxel Game Review So last week we played Staxel which in my thoughts was like you took bits from Stardew Valley, Minecraft, and a tiny bit of Roblox and mixed them all together.  You start out with someone scaring you right at the door after you notice your broken-down house missing pieces and having broken windows. She's like hey, I have a task for you. Which turns into many tasks for herself and others.  So you get some tools first to make a garden, then you learn how to sell things in the market. There are two shops plus the market you can buy various items from. Workbenches, materials, seeds, cows in crates, clothes. There are tons of things you can really grab.  Learning how to make things is next, taking various items to workbenches that each does something different after learning a blueprint for something. While some things are already automatically learned like lumber. You saw some lumber, then assembled it together with straw and three nails to get

The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Game Review This time we looked at a VR game which happened to be The Walking Dead, Saints & Sinners.  The beginning of this game drove me insane, when I started it up I was having problems with the programs I was using. It is a game I owned on stream so I was using a virtual desktop to play it. With Virtual Desktop it is recommended that you open everything from their program and not from the Steam VR application. But with this game, it kept asking me to press buttons that weren't there. I was using the Oculus Quest 2, and it did keep referencing another system a vibe or value or something (I forget at this point)  So to read the chat on the quest and have the game open I need it to be opened through the virtual desktop that was well not working that way with the game. So I switch over to opening it with the Steam VR which worked right away, but I could no longer see chat in the headset so I had to keep peering from the
