Tribes of Midgard - Casual game Review and Overview

Image
Tribes of Midgard Game Review Welcome back everyone, or if you are new here hello! This week we are looking at Tribes of Midgard, a Viking game where you have to explore, collect, and fight. You have to do this all while protecting your village at night when the helthings come to raid it to destroy the life tree (insert name here).  While you collect resources, hunt animals, complete tasks, and kill enemies you collect souls which can heal your life tree. If the tree dies so does the run of the game. When the game ends you get points for the current season where you can start with different starter packs, new runes, and even clothes instead of being almost naked. (I just wear gloves, I swear it's all I have so far!) Now you can play this alone, with a group, or match play up to ten people. It makes the game a bit easier to group up areas, search farther, and take down the Johems faster.  Now when it comes to the village your villagers can be leveled up. Ea...

Re:Legends - Casual Game Overview and Review

Re:Legends Game Review  Re:Legends looks kind of like a mobile game came to pc.  This was a weird start. I started to play this with a friend because, on the store page, it said that it was an online co-op. Well, it is after you do about an hour of gameplay. When it comes to co-streaming that isn't ideal.  So let's get into the game, you start off with getting yeeted off of a mountain, then washed up to shore to be found by a talking penguin. Yes, a talking penguin!  You are then given a farm for some reason, which seems pretty generous. You go and have to do a few missions to learn how to fight, there are 4 classes. Dual swords, a great sword, a bow, and a staff. You fight these monsters, that you can also befriend and tame. It also gives me a Jade Cocoon vibe, as there are different versions of the monsters depending on how you take care of and feed them. (Jade Cocoon you would merge monsters to get different variations) So they might tur...

Staxel - Casual Game Review and Overview

Image
Staxel Game Review So last week we played Staxel which in my thoughts was like you took bits from Stardew Valley, Minecraft, and a tiny bit of Roblox and mixed them all together.  You start out with someone scaring you right at the door after you notice your broken-down house missing pieces and having broken windows. She's like hey, I have a task for you. Which turns into many tasks for herself and others.  So you get some tools first to make a garden, then you learn how to sell things in the market. There are two shops plus the market you can buy various items from. Workbenches, materials, seeds, cows in crates, clothes. There are tons of things you can really grab.  Learning how to make things is next, taking various items to workbenches that each does something different after learning a blueprint for something. While some things are already automatically learned like lumber. You saw some lumber, then assembled it together with straw and three nai...

The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners - Casual game review and overview

Image
The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Game Review This time we looked at a VR game which happened to be The Walking Dead, Saints & Sinners.  The beginning of this game drove me insane, when I started it up I was having problems with the programs I was using. It is a game I owned on stream so I was using a virtual desktop to play it. With Virtual Desktop it is recommended that you open everything from their program and not from the Steam VR application. But with this game, it kept asking me to press buttons that weren't there. I was using the Oculus Quest 2, and it did keep referencing another system a vibe or value or something (I forget at this point)  So to read the chat on the quest and have the game open I need it to be opened through the virtual desktop that was well not working that way with the game. So I switch over to opening it with the Steam VR which worked right away, but I could no longer see chat in the headset so I had to keep peering fro...

The Wicked Days - Casual review and overview

Image
The Wicked Days Game Review -Cue fire and explosions and whatnot- This super cute game is a top-down zombie shooter. While it is still in its early stages there is still plenty to do.  You start as an old man, while there looks like in the future to be 4 total playable characters. The old man has a mine ability. Which you plop out a mine and I usually back up so the zombies run over it. It explodes as something steps onto it.  There are a multiple range of weapons, you get to hold 2 different guns at a time and one melee. There are also some perks to fighting without a weapon as there are a few combos.  You have a small inventory where you can store heal items and buffs. There are also a few items you can find to help you power your character up, like a burger that adds more health and a toolbox that lets you repair cars faster.  Speaking of cars... I blow them things up. XD That was my one problem, that once the zombies hit the car no matter wha...

The Survivalists - Casual overview and review

Image
The Survivalists Game Review What is up everyone we are back to doing game reviews, and this time with a twist. Not only do you get my thoughts in word form but if you get tired of reading you can just get more of my thoughts in video form instead along with some gameplay! Awesome huh? Or maybe even read/watch both. Don't forget to subscribe to YouTube where (hopefully) we keep doing this thing. We will have other content there as well. Now to the main course. So the survivalist is a top-down crash on an island and has-to-survive kind of game. You have a few supplies on the raft you crashed with you can use. This is a multiplayer game so invite your friends to play with you.  You collect supplies which after the blood moon (red moon every kind of moon it's called I forget) supplies in searchable items replenish. This makes it nice if you station at one island and it takes you a while to move off of it.  You can find monkeys either out in the open or in thes...

Will to Live Online Review

Will to Live Online Game Review   *bonks head* Sorry guys last week we ended up skipping. So, last we played a Free to play game it played like a shooter MMO. You start out with a training course, which I thought was super cute. A basic rundown of controls. There were also chickens everywhere, I so totally did not chase them and then knife them. Nope, not me.  Then you go into this inner city area, there were a lot of random people in this area. You're tasked with a few quests, that then seem to never end. It starts with killing these giant mutated rats, then you'll encounter other things like stay dogs, an even bigger white rat, and invisible crabs things called watchers. There are also weird fetch quests to go grab items, some you can actually just buy from a vendor which is strange but whatever.  In a building, there is an area to store items, buy stuff, and repair things. There are also a lot of jackpot machines scattered around. Once in a while, ...
