Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Image
So, a few days was my husband's birthday. A little backstory about this game is that we used to play the first couple on the PlayStation 2 when we first started dating. When we stopped at game stop to check our preorder for the Marvel zombie Dr. Doom Pop figures (which I was a month early on) we wandered around and looked at games. It was then we both realized that we never picked it up and the hype kind of died on it pretty fast. Me being in the streaming world you can see who really latches onto what games. Unfortunately, the always most popular games are FPS for the most part. I'm just not into that scene anymore.  Okay actually talking about the game now. *bonks head* My first reaction was, yes! Couch multi-player, my lady is a playable character (Scarlet Witch which I fell in love with the character in the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance and have been a fan since), and well I guess you could say I am a Marvel fangirl. With that out of the way, the

Night of the Dead - Casual Game Review

Image
I am back again and we are looking at another survival game. This one is called Night of the Dead. It's a survival zombie game. As you begin it looks like you come from some kind of bunker. You have a small task that walks you through how to play the game. Like collecting resources and building crafting-type tables.  The best part? Crafting the many traps that there are. Blades, smashers, and swings all to smash zombies that might be coming for you. The traps don't hit you, other players, or unfortunately, that bear that ate me.  The one difference there from another similar Zombie game is that the horde night is every night. The zombies come in a few waves. Compared to doing one once a week, so you have to be ready each night.   There is one big flaw that I did notice, as I was playing my frame rate became slower and slower. To where my stream was lagging behind very badly and I could barely move in the game itself. Even lowing quality aspects in the se

Satisfactory Review - Build and Automate Your Way to Success in this Factory Simulation Game

Image
First I really want to thank KeyMailer and the Devs at  Coffee Stain Studios for the game! Satisfactory is an open-world survival factory-building game. In most survival games you dig, to get resources to continue to improve your weapons and base. While in Satisfactory you end up automating getting those resources, with drillers, and belts that can then make basic resources for you with constructors and assemblers.  There are a few different weapons to fight creatures that are lurking around, fighting, running, sliding, or jumping away.  There is also this guy We call him a Whaiffick (whale, giraffe, tick, thing) of course we saw someone say there is some penguin in there, might be a few other things. I think someone just took their kid's drawing and went... PERFECT! I mean sounds like a good idea to me.  I just made a tractor, and have a nice building going on. My co-host bought it just to fight poor Whaiffick. Unfortunately for her runs too much to kill it

Morphine, A tale of Jellie Screaming a lot

Image
Morphine So I went to Steam and decided that I was going to find some random cheap games to play horror-wise. You never know what you will get.  Morphine at the time was listed under a dollar (it was on sale) so I picked that up and another game as well.  Watching a trailer I could see that it was focused on a kid that is bullied in high school. As someone who was bullied throughout school, I felt this would be more of an emotional/psychological horror game versus something is going to eat me and run type game.  The first thing that I noticed was I was in a bathroom, the controls are simple, WADS to move, a button for a flashlight, and one to interact. A Short jump to start off with. You can pick out odd words from the whispers when you're in the hallway. Then as you can see as I explored after reading some notes, I made the mistake of looking at the crying girl.  Through the story, we see Ted is mean to us and we don't like him. He's the typical bull

7 Days to Die Console and Pc?

Image
So I've been playing 7 Days to Die since it first came out on Xbox One. Back then I was only on Xbox at that point. Looking up the date it came out on Xbox One in June 2016. In November of 2019, I started to play it on PC. So what I will be doing is going over what I thought of each console Vs PC version.  Console I fell in love with the game, it's hands down one of my favorite games. Survival, zombies, building I always described it as adult Minecraft. Pretty much the base of the game is built, eat, survive. Every 7 days there is a horde of zombies that come to your location. Everyone knows it as the blood moon. Each horde gets stronger, adding more zombies or different kinds of zombies that start once it hits night. The last update to the console was in July 2017 with Alpha 15. The last bit of news for the console is from 10/16/2019 you can find it  here . Saying that Fun Pimps has "re-acquired full console publishing rights on the current and all

Sparkle Kitty: A game to make your friends princesses!

Image
Is this a game for little girls? Probably but also great to play with your friends to make them say all these funny words. The first step is the youngest goes first, or someone dressed as a princess. So the best thing to do? Get a tiara and watch everyone fight over it. (watching your husband wear a tiara to go first is fantastic!) So what is next? Everyone has to pick a princess to be, there Princess Princess, Princess Violet, Princess Metal, Princess Punch, and more. Then everyone gets 9 cards, not looking at them at all. You take 4 cards from your pile face down and put them under your princess forming a tower. The point of the game is to break out of your tower. The rest of the cards form your hand. Each card has a color, symbol, and a word on it. (there are special cards too) You have to match the symbol or color to play a card. There is a spell book where you play your cards. Each turn you either play a card or draw and pass. The spell book only ha

Dragonwood a Game of Dice and Daring

Image
This game we ended up getting this as an Easter present for the kids. Let's just say my other half likes dice and it was a game that had dragons and dice. There are a lot of words when it comes to the instructions and my kids gave up paying attention halfway through. But pretty much there are two decks one made up of monsters, events, and enchantments, and the other makes up your hand of characters. Now the characters don't really matter it's the numbers and colors of the cards that do. To start off every person gets 5 adventure cards in their hands, (the deck of characters) five landscape cards get laid out (the mixture of monster and enchantment cards). On your turn, you can do one of two things, draw a card then pass your turn or attempt to capture a card. So to capture a card well start by talking about the landscape cards. Each monster and enchantment has three different defense stats stomp, scream, and strike. Some have higher in one stat and lower in anoth
