Jurassic Park Danger Board Game

Image
This is the start of board game reviews. The main concept of this game is to turn on the three attractions and make it to the helicopter before the dinos eat you or before the spots are all taken up. One player will be the dinos, and of course, they want to gobble up all the players. Everyone else will be a random character and each has their own abilities to make it past the dinos. Each player has a deck for their character and keeping five cards in your hand at a time, those are how your character moves. If it is running, sneaking, or climbing to another area. The dinosaurs can also sneak so watch out. You must collect your character token, which each has a different way to collect them. Some are by task while others are by just visiting a certain area. Which you can work together with others, or work against them to make sure you can escape. Once the attractions as activated like, the visitors center, maintenance shed, and the control center, you have to make it to the

Heroes of the Monkey Tavern

Image
So I was going through games that were on sale in the Nintendo eShop. I found a dungeon crawler game called Heroes of the Monkey Tavern I was thinking okay it's cheap I have gold coins let's get it, but then I saw there was a demo. Sweet, I can try it first! So I downloaded it and the Switch takes forever to download the game unless it is sitting right next to my wireless router. So I didn't remember I even downloaded the game till a few days later. I booted it up and had a cute little story to begin with. It empathized 4 heroes in the story. Then you pick 4 hero classes and avatars. You also add a few points of your choice to their stats as well. I was excited to start it off. I'm suddenly in a dungeon and it took me a bit to figure out the controls. the left stick does nothing. the left buttons each move in a direction, while the right stick looks around the direction you are facing. The L and R switch the direction you are facing and the ZL ZR switch the character t

The current Dayz

So right now Dayz is a game preview, pretty much a beta game on the Xbox One right now. Pretty much you buy the game at an unfinished price and have to deal with the development and working out the bugs. Of course, it is at a reduced price than what they are going to sell it at afterward. Ark had their game at $19-$29 until its release at $59. Dayz is currently $29.99 it was on sale over the holidays for black Friday and I believe the PC version which is farther ahead than the Xbox version was on sale last week. That all being said this game is in development and we have no clue what is going to change or be the final product. As an Xbox player, I can see what is happening on PC and expect that to happen on Xbox next, but other than that we have no clue what is really in store. Recently they added "base building" and cars. I say "base building" Because at first, you could walk right through all the walls, then they don't clip into anything. You can't use

Subnautica - Yay free game!

So with Epic Games opening their own store on the PC, they are giving away Subnatica for free. Everyone's favorite price tag.  Now I have been wanting to play this game for a while, it has been in game preview mode on Xbox One for a while. Just with other games and things going on I never got a chance. I did watch a few streamers on Mixer play the game and wanted to eventually play it. A few friends also recommended it as well. So I downloaded the game manager and then installed the game. Fortnite is like an auto game you get in your library I thought this was pretty funny. So I load up the game... Crash land on an alien planet. Something went wrong you just into an escape pod and ended up getting knocked out after ejecting from the ship. You wake up to your pod being on fire and need to quickly put it out. There are little amount of control hints but a lot of things you have to figure out yourself. So I took this time to check the controls. I play on Xbox a lot so I plugged in

Cat Girl Without Salad

So I ended up getting some free games from Humble So I downloaded this game Cat Girl Without Salad. I did not know what to expect whatsoever. From the menu and other images, I thought well this might be some kind of girly neon cat girl dress-up game or something of the sort. But what I got was way better. A side-scrolling shooter, with tons of pop culture references. But in a weird future, Space Cat Girl is totally confused by them all. Like instead of years being well numbers they are now a bunch of really weird phrases. Bright Neon colors and cute characters. You use the basic awsd controls to move around then you use the arrows to shoot. (The arrows shoot stuff for some reason I believe were the instructions.) You can shoot enemies to get health back in the form of pizza and burgers. Or get cartridges to power up your gun in the form of old video games. Like a pink version of Pac-Man chomping across the screen in the area, you shoot it at each of the enemies. The only problem

Diablo 3

So recently my husband and I have been playing Diablo 3 on weekends. He started to game a lot more than he has ever, coming home after work and gaming for a few hours rather than watching television for that long. He told me a few days ago, "I kinda missed gaming." So that got me thinking, there aren't as many co-op games as there used to be. Most co-ops you have to have two Xbox ones to play, or you can play co-op split-screen, but then you can't play with your other friends. That point being said Diablo 3 makes the best of both worlds, it's co-op and two other friends can join. I love the RPG aspect that you can equip tons of different armor and weapons with different abilities. You don't like the items look or color? That's cool you can change it, for a small price of course. You can throw each other items, or stash them away for later use, or to pass them to another one of your characters. Speaking of characters, there is a new necromancer that has
