Hatsune Miku - Cosplay

Hatsune Miku

Hatsune Miku also code named CV01 was developed by Cryton Future Media Inc. It was the first one to be developed in Japan.
Vocaloids are singing voice synthesizers, pretty much think of the current robot voice trend in TikTok videos but with a name and face.
She has a wide range of products between apparel, video games, shows, and more.

Cosplay Background

So, the funny thing about this cosplay is, it started as a bet.

The Orcosaurus loves Miku and I'm not sure how it started but it turned into me accepting a bet to dress as Miku and play DDR.

The lovely ToiletTTV ended up purchasing the cosplay off my Amazon wishlist for me, and I snagged the wig to go with it.

I also 3D printed the square things that go around the wig as it didn't come as an accessory and it really needed it.

The Bet

Once it was all put together I ended up playing DDR, the handheld version. (It still counts.) But also played some Beat Saber because why not. The video is below.

Other bits

Unknown to me, my daughter and her friends started to get into a Miku phone rhythm game similar to the piano tiles type games. She got the cosplay for Rin while her friend was supposed to dress as Len but ended up not getting the cosplay. We ended up going to our local comic book shop on Free Comic Book Day. My daughter also went to Colossal Con with her friend in the same cosplay!

Thanks again to Toilet and Orcie! Because of you guys, I was also able to share something with my daughter, who now has started to even further collect Miku figures, with another one promised for Christmas from my Mom. I even got her the Oculus VR game, which is interesting they could have done more with it. XD

Don't forget about cosplay Wednesdays! That is where I cosplay while streaming. Wednesday is the best day to see new photos, and videos in cosplay as well. Want to help grow the collection? Check out Throne or Amazon.  You can also Pledge to Patreon or Sub to Discord to get added to the weekly voting channel. Help pick out the cosplay each week. (Cosplays bought on wishlists get more priority/votes)
Streams are live on YouTube! You can also check out photos on various socials, all socials are listed in the socials tab at the top of the page!
