Xera Survival Casual Review and Overview

Xera Survival Game Review

Now when I was looking at this game my first thought was DayZ or Deadside but instead of Zombies or Raider-type NPCs, you have robots instead.

So I was quite scared when I was wandering around that these things were going to get me as I walked around with lasers and things.

I was terrified when I first saw a helicopter to my time playing Rust I started to hide in the bushes thinking I was going to get shot.

I did join a PvE server since I learning how to play the game plus I of course was nowhere near geared to fight against any geared players.

My first thought was to check the map, in the map there were a lot of locations that were marked and a series of different events, and then also safe site settlements. So I searched a few houses for supplies and grabbed whatever I could and headed to one of the settlements hoping to sell what I had to maybe get a weapon. At that point, I only had a crowbar and a pipe, for a weapon wise which wasn't that much. I get to the area and boom I found out where the helicopter goes, it transports people all around the map. You can get on and vote between 3 routes, then jump out at any point while it's on the route which also leads to the other settlement. So it's an easy way to get to some of the map locations to do the events which is super nice not having to run across the map all the time.

While I was in my limited global catch which does increase in size as you level up, someone was punching me. I was like EKKkk another person. I backed out of the menu and looked they had dropped me an M4 and some ammo I was like Aweeee thanks rando!!! In each settlement is a trader, a repair station, and global catch access there is also the helicopter that only stays for like 20 or so seconds before heading off again. I guess in PvP you do have to watch to make sure no one is landing by you. The trader you get more for items when they are in the shop being sold, and their quality is still good. You also get a sale level bonus I guess depending on your level items might sell higher.

So then I headed to my first mission which was a radio tower, there were two robots there my first experience with them. With my M4 those robots dropped pretty fast, then I had to destroy some jammers, and boom first mission done. Which dropped a supply drop for me.

I had to run to that get my items then I was like I can do anything, so I headed to a reactor event, and boy was I wrong. There were so many robots and I found out the blue robots are faster and stronger than the normal ones that I had fought before. I ended up just heading out from there as it seemed like those robots never stopped spawning. My luck I killed them all and didn't realize it.

So all in all I loved the game, I loved there was a PvE server set up for the game seeing I like playing these types of games but without a group of people playing it's hard for me to play PvP. This is something that I am trying to get a few others to get into as well. Tee hee.
