Morphine, A tale of Jellie Screaming a lot

Morphine

So I went to Steam and decided that I was going to find some random cheap games to play horror-wise. You never know what you will get.

Morphine at the time was listed under a dollar (it was on sale) so I picked that up and another game as well.

Watching a trailer I could see that it was focused on a kid that is bullied in high school. As someone who was bullied throughout school, I felt this would be more of an emotional/psychological horror game versus something is going to eat me and run type game.

The first thing that I noticed was I was in a bathroom, the controls are simple, WADS to move, a button for a flashlight, and one to interact. A Short jump to start off with. You can pick out odd words from the whispers when you're in the hallway. Then as you can see as I explored after reading some notes, I made the mistake of looking at the crying girl.

Through the story, we see Ted is mean to us and we don't like him. He's the typical bully, means for no reason, and ended up isolating us pushing everyone to call us a loser. It seems like our pain is between Ted and our father. I guess B's aren't good for him he wants A's.

There's also this really creepy bunny, that I think is the school's team mascot.

I ended up getting stuck at the end not knowing what to do an hour and a half in. Anyway, I tried to tell me it was too dark, or I couldn't go that way. I might take another look at it in the future. I enjoyed it for the price for sure.
