Marooners

I am a big fan of couch games, I have two kids and a husband so having anything 4-player we can all play together in the same room is great.

First, you pick your character, a little girl, pirate, scuba diver? Then what color do you want to be? Don't forget to pick the best weapon. Like the T-rex bone, caveman's club, shaman staff, and much more.

There are a few modes to play from, but it took a while to understand some of them. There is a party, arena, or any in offline mode. (I honestly didn't play the online mode since we played 4 players)

Now what it does is hop between each mini-game, it will start off by telling you what to do for that level, but then it will quickly start. If you are in chaos mode it will randomly change in the middle of the game without finishing to another game. You can also choose to finish each game before switching to a new one.

You could end up running from a giant bolder trying to smash you one moment to, trying not to get squished by an overhead block, to digging down through blocks to the end of the level.

You get coins, and jewels as points. Hit another player to knock their points out and quickly collect them before others do.

Once all the levels are over it will count up all the points over the levels, and then you'll get points for playing to level up. Leveling up will unlock more characters and weapons.

We really enjoyed it and of course were very competitive. It was easy control for the kids to use, and we ended up playing it for a few hours.

You can find this game on Xbox One, but I also believe it is on PS4 and Steam.
